Open Control
Illustrations for the interactive game “Open Control”: characters, a city of the future and game objects.

Create an illustration system for a game: characters, locations, objects and screen states — in one style that doesn't get in the way of the interface.
The project was developed for the “Moscow 2030” festival as part of work for Digital Heart. The game playfully helps people understand city rules, choice scenarios and the consequences of decisions.

Game screens
Start screen, plot selection and moving on to the next step.

Visual direction
A city of the future: light blue shades, pink neon accents, soft light and rounded shapes. The illustrations attract attention but don't interfere with text, buttons and choice cards.

Characters
The robot mascot InnoKenty guides the user through the game, and the inspectors appear at key stages of the check.

Construction process
Construction stages, signs and verandas — what the user chooses along the way. Detailed enough to understand the situation without overloading the screen.

Choice states
Visual feedback: which option works and which leads to a mistake.

Use in the game
Characters, backgrounds and objects inside the final game scenario.

Result
An interactive screen at the festival venue.
